Every year after year viruses and bacteria have been mutating and evolving consistently.That is why every year people get a different flu vaccine.Maybe you didn't know that getting the vaccine means you never get that particular flu virus again.The vaccine immunizes your body against that virus.The reason you will need one every year is because the virus mutates, becomes resistant to the vaccine and requires people to get re-vaccinated.So if these living organisms are mutating for the sole purpose of penetrating human defenses, shouldn't you be upgrading your air filter? Some people think that simply getting the new vaccine every year solves all of their problems.I go over my furnace yearly to ensure it will go through another season.I discovered last year the the "squirrel cage" had bad bearings and the entire assembly needed to be replaced which means replacing the entire assembly including cage, shaft, and bearings.It has a filter housing also and I change the filter often but it still isn't enough.An air purifier which runs continuously is what I need; one that senses the air and knows when to turn on.So I then began my search.Many people still get the flu in spite of having received the modern mutation vaccination.The vaccine shot itself has made many people very ill.Personally I never get the flu shot.As far as I'm concerned It's too risky.I like to fight my fights from the outside.Washing my hands several times per day is one way which is good to do anyway.Upgrading my air purifier system is also one of my plans.

ALLERGISTS: Ionic Breeze vs. Hepa Filter :please read question?
All of my family suffers with allergies, I have heard a lot of good things about the Ionic Breese. Recently someone told me that buying that is a waste of money and the Hepa Filter air purifier is better but they did not say why- before I purchase one, I would like some opinions, which is better Ionic Breeze or a Hepa Filter purifier and WHY?? Price is of moderate importance- I want something that will really help with our allergies and is not just a fad. Thank you for serious aswers- I don't care how long the answer is as long as it is informative and honest.
My dad bought us a Air Purifer from Oreck and it has been a dream. They told us that the Ionic Breeze is not what they claim to be. I believe them because from experience we have had not trouble with the Oreck. Also my Dad has Asthama and he says that he breathes better then he has in years. I can't remember what they actually said about the Ionic Breeze but it wasn't good. Check out the Oreck for youself
