Need normal voltages on a Bryant (Carrier) model 395A furnace gas valve?
What are the normal voltages on the 5 terminals on the gas valve in the 2 states below.
1a. Pilot is lit and
1b. furnace is running
One connector has Blue,Brown,Green wires.
The other Blue and white wires.
Since Blue is common , tie one side of the voltmeter to that .
Bonus points for telling me what each wire color does.

I think you are describing a 5 wire gas valve on a system that uses a 3 wire intermittent pilot. If you are having a problem with this system, I highly suggest you call a professional. It is unlike any other gas valve out there and only experienced techs should work on it.
