Whenever my air conditioner is running, I notice condensate flowing from the furnace system.?
The central AC and the furnace (Natural Gas) use the same fan and ducting.
Water should flow from the coil down a drain pipe to the outside, not directly from the furnace. If the hose gets plugged, water will back up into the furnace/ ac. If you can remove the drain hose, and it's flexible, you can try blowing through it to clear it. You don't say where you live, but where I am in Florida, its been so hot and humid, and rained so much that my hose wasn't plugged, but the saturated ground wouldn't absorb any more water from the drain. I had to pump it away from the drain line to get it to clear. Hope this helps, good luck.
